Re: Age of Sigmar slow grow

Personally tempted by the models but a brief flurry of interest down these parts seems to have died so not really much point for me... :cry_blow:

Re: Saga - Second Edition

Ralph de Tosny raised himself up in his stirrups and anxiously surveyed the land before him. He did not like what he saw. To his immediate left stood a fair sized (for this land anyway!) hovel, masquerading as a farmhouse. Further on and left of the farm a significant area of rocky ground was visibl...

Re: Saga - Second Edition

Just picked these up from eBay at a silly price...don’t have a Military Order warband yet but probably will in the future. The same guy is also selling Norman dice for £6 (half price) if anyone’s interested... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAGA-dice-christian-set-of-8-new-but-no-packaging/173342664553?...

Re: Saga - Second Edition

As someone who was quite dubious about this second edition, having now played two games I feel quite enthusiatic about the changes. The increase in Saga dice availability increases the opportunity of more actions/boosters during a turn which all adds to the fun or chaos! By separating the factions i...

Re: Saga - Second Edition

After considerable delays - mostly my own availability being a problem - I finally played my first game of Saga using the 2nd Edition Rules this week. Now I haven’t played Saga for probably 5 years or more, so you can imagine (with my memory) it was a tad tricky to say the least. Probably wasn’t rea...

Will go loyalist. Currently thinking Legio Invicta (liked the Dan Abnett book Titanicus) but will obviously be swayed by a fetching colour scheme!
Hopefully with matching handbag and shoes! ;)

Re: Godslayer

As I’ve said previously, I had serious doubts about the game after the last showing. I really like the game system - probably my favourite fantasy Skirmish system - and, after seeing the video on BoW, was feeling more confident about things but the combination of reading and listening to the comment...

Thanks Matt, I seem to remember the Chapel having an event over Whitsun but can’t remember whether it involved the Hall.

Re: Godslayer

Having watched the BOW interview video on this I’m actually feeling more confident. I think they may have missed an opportunity with the starter box as it looks like it contains existing models rather than the new releases. It also looks to me like pledging is going slowly but I don’t really have mu...
